Our cosy bar is a warm and welcoming place for locals and visitors alike. With roaring log fires and buttoned banquettes, it's the perfect place to relax after a hard day's walking or cycling in the Yorkshire Dales. Your furry friends will also receive a warm welcome.
All that fresh air making you peckish? Enjoy lunch or dinner from our menu of locally-sourced, seasonal dishes, loving crafted by chef Shaun. We call them pub classics with a twist - you might call it comfort food - but you'll definitely find something to love.
Local ales and quirky wines
We have a great range of local ales, including Timothy Taylor’s, Copper Dragon and Saltaire Brewery on cask. Our wines are chosen with care, and many are available by the glass.
Our gin selection is superlative, with big brands plus small batch artisan producers. We even have our own gin, made in collaboration with Otterbeck Distillery with plums and elderberries from our kitchen garden.
